HILBERT COLLEGE: Head Coach - Women's Lacrosse (part-time)

Job Summary: Directs all aspects of a successful NCAA Division III women’s lacrosse program.  Responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of all activities related to the program.  These areas include, but are not limited to recruiting potential student-athletes; planning and supervising practices and games; management of budget, control of equipment and supplies; scouting opponents; and organization and implementation of program development activities; abide by NCAA and NEAC rules and regulations; maintain accurate uniform and equipment inventories; plan and closely supervise all team travel; serve as a positive role model for all student-athletes; develop and maintain good communication with team members; utilize effective motivational strategies; make hiring recommendations; train and orientate assistant coaches.
Requirements/Qualifications: Knowledge of NCAA and NEAC rules and regulations; basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer); strong communication and interpersonal skills; willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, some weekday travel required; strong organizational skills; playing and coaching experience, preferably at the college level; Bachelor’s degree preferred; valid driver’s license.

HILBERT COLLEGE:  Graduate Assistant - Coaching Position (mulitple positions available)

Job Summary:  Hilbert College, an NCAA D-III institution located in Western New York, seeks qualified applicants for a graduate assistant coaching position with a background in one or more of the following sports:  men’s or women’s volleyball, men’s soccer, or women’s lacrosse.  Responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all facets of coaching; recruiting, program organization, fundraising, among other duties as assigned by the head coach.  Outside of the playing season, there may be duties assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and valid driver’s license required. Experience playing your sport at the collegiate level required.  Prior coaching experience is a plus.

Term: August 1, 2017 – May 31, 2018, 20 – 25 hours per week, renewable for a second term for a possible two-year appointment.

Compensation: $6,000 annual stipend and a full tuition waiver to enroll in either a Master of Public Administration, Master of Public Administration: Health Administration, or Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration Program at Hilbert (contingent upon acceptance into graduate school).
