    MarceAnn Dunning, Medaille College, Women's Basketball Dunning had a career week for Medaille, which included earning her 1,000th career point in a victory over cross-town rival D'Youville College last Wednesday. Dunning needed 19 points heading into the week to reach 1,000 points and she did so in the first half of play, draining a three in the final minute of the first half Wednesday to reach the career milestone. She finished the week averaging 17.5 points, eight rebounds, 6.5 assists and an impressive 5.5 steals per game. The 2-0 week helped propel Medaille into the number two seed heading into next week's AMCC postseason tournament.

    PENN ST. ALTOONA WOMEN'S BASKETBALL RAISES MONEY FOR UPMC ALTOONA The Penn State Altoona women's basketball program continued an annual fundraising tradition this winter, as the team and its coaching staff helped raise money to benefit the fight against breast cancer.

    Sabrina McLin, La Roche College, Women's Basketball McLin averaged 24 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 4.5 assists in a 2-0 week. She nearly registered a triple-double with 24 points, 11 rebounds, eight steals and seven assists against Penn State Altoona on Saturday. McLin currently leads the AMCC in scoring with 23.6 points per game.

    TiChina Mitchell, La Roche College, Women's Basketball Mitchell averaged 20 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2 steals and 1.5 blocks as La Roche went 2-0 to clinch their seventh straight AMCC Regular Season Title. Mitchell had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds against Mt. Aloysius. She then had 26 points and nine rebounds as the Redhawks overcame a fifteen point second half deficit to beat Medaille 86-84.

    Ali Rinfrette, Pitt-Bradford, Women's Basketball Rinfrette helped the Panthers to a 2-0 week, averaging 21 points, 11.5 rebounds, six assists and five steals a game. Rinfrette shot 92 percent from the free throw line while her 14 rebounds against Alfred State are tied for the seventh-most in program history for a single game. The 5'6" guard missed her second double-double by one rebound.

    Megan Wheeler, Penn State Altoona, Women's Basketball Wheeler had a huge week for the Lady Lions, helping them go 1-1 in AMCC play. In a tough overtime loss at Pitt-Greensburg on Wednesday night, she scored a career-high 30 points while grabbing 12 rebounds and blocking two shots. In a victory at Hilbert on Saturday afternoon, she put up 24 points to go along with 10 rebounds and another block. For the week, Wheeler averaged a double-double with 27.0 points per game and 11.0 rebounds per game, as well as 1.5 blocks per game and a 57.5% shooting percentage from the field.

    Dani Reinwald, Medaille College, Women's Basketball Reinwald was practically unstoppable last week, averaging 19.5 points and 20 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week for the Mavs. She did all of it while shooting a team best 60% from the field and also blocking a team high six shots. 14 of her 40 rebounds last week came on the offensive glass, and she has recorded a double-double in every single game she has played this season.

    Kelsi Ebert, Hilbert College, Women's Basketball Ebert led the Hawks to a 2-0 week, and four straight wins, scoring 30 points in back-to-back games. In the overtime win over Nazareth, the guard recorded her first double double with 30 points coming on 10 of 19 shooting from the field (2-3 from three) and 8-14 from the line. She also pulled down 10 rebounds, grabbed seven steals, and dished out three assists. Just over two days later she repeated that 30 point performance, this time by only taking 17 shots and going a perfect 7-7 from the line. She recorded six assists, six rebounds, and two steals in that conference win over Greensburg. For the week, Ebert shot 58.3% from the floor (60% from three) and 71.4% from the free throw line. In addition to her 30 points per game, Ebert averaged 8.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 4.5 steals. Not only was Ebert a great scorer and creator for her teammates, she also was the best defender on the floor both nights and was a great leader in the overtime.

    Jean-Ann Korona, D'Youville College, Women's Basketball Korona has consistently led the Spartan offense all season. On December 29 against Salem State at the Salem State Holiday Classic, Korona tied a season and career high with 26 points, and also added seven rebounds. Korona followed up that performance by scoring 18 points against Bates the next day. She chipped in with a team high nine rebounds, dished out two assists and recorded two steals. Korona is currently fourth in the AMCC in scoring (17.3 PPG) and sixth in rebounding (8.2 RPG).

    Kelli McCauley, Medaille College, Women's Basketball McCauley scored a career high 29 points on Wednesday against Hilbert and then dropped another 18 points Saturday against Penn State Altoona. For the week, she averaged 23.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game. McCauley is currently second in the AMCC with 20.4 points per game.

    Jean-Ann Korona, D'Youville College, Women's Basketball Korona has had a very strong start to conference play, averaging 20.5 points per game over her first two games as the Spartans went 1-1. In the team's win over Penn State-Behrend last Wednesday, Korona scored a career high 26 points to go with seven rebounds, five assists and five steals in the team's 59-51 win over the Lions. She followed that performance up by recording her second double-double of the season on Saturday against Mount Aloysius, scoring 15 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Combined in the two games, Korona shot 50% from the field, 41.7% from three and 72.7% from the line. She also averaged 8.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.0 steals per game.

    Katie Chess, Penn State Behrend, Women's Basketball Chess just missed averaging a double-double over three games, with 16.0 points and 9.3 rebounds. Chess shot 50 percent from the floor and went 10-for-13 from the free-throw line. She tallied her first double-double with a game-high 18 points and 13 rebounds against NC Wesleyan. Chess was also named to the Marietta Shootout All-Tournament Team.

She had 23 points against #18 Carnegie Mellon, 25 points, seven rebounds and six steals in a win over Earlham, and 36 points, inclduing seven 3-pointers, against Case Western.
