PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Medaille G MarceAnn Dunning had a career week for Medaille, which included earning her 1,000th career point in a victory over cross-town rival D'Youville College last Wednesday. Dunning needed 19 points heading into the week to reach 1,000 points and she did so in the first half of play, draining a three in the final minute of the first half Wednesday to reach the career milestone. She finished the week averaging 17.5 points, eight rebounds, 6.5 assists and an impressive 5.5 steals per game. The 2-0 week helped propel Medaille into the number two seed heading into next week's AMCC postseason tournament.
BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Bradford G Ali Rinfrette averaged 24.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 1.5 assists...La Roche F Mackenzie O'Donnell averaged 18 points and 8.0 rebounds in a 2-0 week for La Roche, including a 29 point and 13 rebound performance in a victory over D'Youville...Mount Aloysius F Jessa Wright tied her career-high with five made three-point field goals in a game vs Hilbert while helping Mount Aloysius clinch a home playoff game, she averaged 19 points per game in two conference victories while shooting an efficient 63.2 percent from the field and 63.6 percent from three-point range and added 6.5 rebounds per game...Hilbert F Shannon Rogers had a breakout week averaging 14 points and 11.5 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week, she recorded four offensive boards in both contests, to go along with two steals and one assist per game, finishing the week shooting 64.7 percent from the floor...PS-Behrend F Heidi Langhorst averaged 16.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Lions, including career-high 22 points and also pulled down 13 rebounds in a victory over PS-Altoona...PS-Altoona G Paige Burk played well for the Lady Lions in a pair of AMCC contests last week, averaging 13.0 points per game, 5.5 rebounds per game, 3.0 steals per game, and 2.0 assists per game.
