PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Medaille FR Jasmin Mott had a phenomenal week for Medaille, going 3-0 in the number one singles slot and 2-1 as a member of the number one doubles pairing. Mott defeated the number one singles player for D'Youville, Pitt-Greensburg, and La Roche last week, helping the Mavs improve to 7-2 overall and 5-2 in conference play. She also paired with her partner Colleen Voigt to go 2-1 in number one doubles, defeating the Bobcats' number one pairing 8-6, and the Redhawks' number one pair 8-5.
BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona SO Brayley Lewis went undefeated against AMCC opponents last week to help Penn State Altoona earn its third and fourth conference wins of the season, winning at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles on Saturday against Pitt-Bradford, then repeating those results on Sunday against Pitt-Greensburg...Franciscan SO Grace Hammel picked up the only Lady Baron win against a very strong Cedarville opponent, and also helping the Lady Barons to their fourth-straight sweep of the season of an AMCC opponent (Mount Aloysius)...La Roche FR Rebecca Selzer went 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles in two conference matches this weekend...Pitt-Bradford SO Ashley Stoltz helped the Panthers keep it close against Altoona with a pair of wins in singles and doubles, while also coming out with a convincing win against Mount Aloysius on Sunday at 6-1,6-0, helping Pitt-Bradford to its second AMCC win of the season.
