WOMEN'S BOWLING GEARS UP FOR CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP
After sweeping the AMCC regular season round robin competitions and taking home the regular season women's bowling title, Mount Aloysius College (29-11, 19-1 AMCC) is looking for their second straight conference tournament title.

Mountie sophomore Rayissa Amon, the 2016 Newcomer and Bowler of the Year, leads the conference in all individual statistics. She enters the championship weekend with a 19.0 Baker format average, 181.0 team format average, and a 255 single game high, second-highest in the conference this season.
New Jersey City University* (18-25, 14-6 AMCC) enters the championship as the #2 seed. The Gothic Knights are led by sophomore Autumn Fortunato who is second in the conference with a 174 team format average and is third with a 17.1 Baker format average. Her 246 single game high was fourth-best in the AMCC this season.
Medaille College (19-33, 12-8 AMCC), led by sophomore Taylor Reese, will be the #3 seed in this year's tournament. Reese is fourth in the conference with a 16.7 Baker format average and her team format average of 172.9 places her fifth in the league. Maverick sophomore Ysobel Conrad's 252 single game high was third-highest on the season.
The #4 seed will go to Pitt-Bradford (12-23, 10-10 AMCC), who will be looking to reclaim their AMCC championship titles from 2014 and 2015. Brianna Saylor leads the Panthers with the second-best Baker format average in the conference, 17.3, and also boasts a league-leading 256 single-game high.
Penn State Altoona (3-17, 3-17), the #5 seed, will look to Brea Suchonic's senior leadership to carry them through the championship. Suchonic is 10th in the conference with a 16.3 Baker format average and is seventh with a 170.2 team format average.
Thiel College*(2-20, 2-18 AMCC) rounds out the field as the #6 seed. The Tomcats are led by sophomore Brianna Gibbs with a 144 team format average and a single game high of 175.
The 2017 AMCC Championship will be hosted by Mount Aloysius College and will be held at Richland Lanes in Johnstown, PA on February 11-12. Saturday's competition, featuring the traditional team format, will begin at 10:00am. Sunday will follow the Baker format, starting at 9:00am.
