      <description>Spiegel had a strong defensive week for an Express team that defeated Hilbert and Mount Aloysius to finish AMCC play with a 6-0 record and become the 2024 AMCC Regular Season Champions. In the two conference matchups, Spiegel made 10 saves and posted a 58.8% save percentage while only allowing seven goals for a 3.68 goals allowed average. Spiegel's excellent control in front of the pipes allowed the Express to secure the AMCC Regular Season Crown. Spiegel and the Express will be the #1 seed in the upcoming AMCC Women's Lacrosse Tournament.</description>

      <description>Thomas had another strong week for an Express team that picked up victories over Hilbert and Mount Aloysius en-route to securing a 6-0 conference record and the 2024 AMCC Regular Season Title. During the three-game week, Thomas kept up her streak of offensive dominance, scoring nine goals and recording five assists while also nabbing 13 ground balls to pair with five draw controls. In the two title-clinching performances vs the Hawks and Mounties, Thomas found the cage for seven scores and five assists to go along with some excellent marks in the field as she tallied eight ground balls and three draw controls. Thomas and the Express locked up the #1 seed in the AMCC tournament.</description>

      <description>Mason had a season-high 10 ground balls in the Mounties' win against Hilbert, as Mount Aloysius went 2-0 on the week. She also added five draw controls and five caused turnovers. Mason leads the team with 24 ground balls and is third with 12 caused turnovers. She ranks second in AMCC play in both categories.</description>

      <description>Thomas powered a nationally-ranked Express offense in their two huge victories over Hilbert and La Roche. Thomas was the main force behind a Wells offensive unit that scored 46 goals over their two games last week. Thomas had 10 of those goals, contributing to her team's success in which she's spent the majority of the year being featured heavily in the AMCC leaderboards. Thomas also recorded five assists to end the week with 15 total points. Thomas was a key contributor all over the field, as she also logged eight ground balls and six draw controls. </description>

      <description>Stephens had an excellent defensive performance against La Roche on Saturday as the Express moved to 9-0 and continued their spotless start to the season. Stephens was a disruptor all day, slowing down numerous Redhawk attackers and causing two turnovers. She also scooped up four ground balls and even produced an all-important goal as the Express pulled away for a 17-11 victory.</description>

      <description>Lamont had standout week, nabbing seven goals and two assists in the Express' 17-11 victory over the Redhawks on Saturday. Along with her scoring output, she also secured 15 draw controls, shooting her total on the year to 93, and breaking the single season Wells record for draw controls (78) with at least six games left to play in the 2024 season. Lamont ranks fifth in all of Division III Women's Lacrosse for draw controls per game with 10.33 and has been the central pillar of an Express draw unit that places seventh in DIII for draw controls per game with 18.00. That same Express draw unit also currently holds the #1 draw control win percentage in DIII, sporting a 74.7% draw win rate.</description>

      <description>Spiegel had an outstanding week for an Express defense that currently ranks #1 in all of Division III Women's Lacrosse in goals allowed per game. In a midweek win vs SUNY Poly, she used her net, stick, and even her cleats to shutdown a plethora of Wildcat attacks en-route to a 19-save performance. Spiegel also recorded her 300th save during the win on Wednesday. She followed it up on Saturday by having another strong showing in front of the cage, logging four saves and only allowing two goals in a huge debut win for the Express in the AMCC over Mount Aloysius. Spiegel has a spotless record of 8-0 on the year, and is part of an Express goalkeeping unit that ranks first in all of DIII for save % at .630.</description>

      <description>OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Wells A Jade Epp had an impressive scoring week for an Express team that ranks eighth for scoring offense in all of Division III Women's Lacrosse with 17.12 goals per game. Epp contributed eight goals and two assists last week in two big wins against SUNY Poly and Mount Aloysius which kept Wells undefeated at 8-0 and also launched them to 1-0 start in AMCC play. Epp was integral around the opposing cage for the Express, scoring most of her goals by barreling her way around the cage and finding the smallest openings to put home each of her eight scores. Epp also added three ground balls on the week.</description>

      <description>Carfi had an excellent week for an Express defensive squad that recorded a shutout in their only action last week vs Waynesburg. She flew around on defense, causing two turnovers and securing three ground balls for Wells in a complete performance that saw them win 22-0 and cruise to a 6-0 start to the season, the best start in Wells women's lacrosse history. Carfi was at the core of the huge defensive effort, leading a staunch Express unit that caused 31 turnovers, and only allowed eight shots in the shutout vs the Yellow Jackets.</description>

Lomonaco, just one of many first year players for the Express, found the cage six more times in the win over the Yellow Jackets, also procuring two assists in the victory. </description>

In those two matchups, Thomas scored nine goals and tallied one assist, picking up 10 points in the two wins. She was also the definition of consistency and efficiency, as she scored five &amp; four goals in the two games and also had a shot percentage of 83.3 in the first game against Purchase. She picked up eight ground balls, creating more opportunities to score for an Express squad that racked up 30 goals in the last two matchups. </description>

      <description>Hornikel had another strong week for the Redhawks who went 1-1. In Thursday's win over Waynesburg, Hornikel made eight saves in goal, adding five ground balls and a caused turnover. She followed that performance on Saturday against Westminster making 10 saves, collecting one ground ball and causing two turnovers.</description>

      <description>Lomonaco had an excellent offensive game against Old Westbury. The first-year midfielder paced the Express with five goals and three assists in a dominant 14-1 victory over the Panthers. Lomonaco has had a strong start to the season, ranking high in many of the conference's offensive categories despite it being only her first season in a college uniform. Lomonaco currently sits at third in the AMCC for goals scored with 10. She also ranks first in the conference for assists with six. Her personal success is translating to great team success as the Express are out to a 3-0 start this season, outscoring opponents 57-6 in their first three matchups.</description>
