The Pitt-Bradford women's volleyball team hosted its annual Dig Pink Night on Wednesday, October. 22. The Panthers won a 3-2 thriller over Keuka College in non-conference action at the KOA Arena.
Dig Pink is sponsored by the Side-Out Foundation and promotes national breast cancer awareness during the month of October. This was the eighth consecutive year the Panthers have taken part in the event to raise money for research and finding a cure for the deadly disease.
The volleyball team sold t-shirts and accepted donations the night of the game.
Even though this is a one-night event, the Panthers collected donations for the entire month of October, raising $350. The team would especially like to thank the Pitt-Bradford nursing club for their generous donation.
