"Hawks Against Hunger" continues to be a cause our team keeps battling in an attempt to draw awareness towards hunger.
Through coordination with the Buffalo City Mission, every $1.98 raised in conjunction with proceeds from the tournament goes to providing a warm meal, and hope, to people less fortunate in the greater Buffalo area. This year's tournament will help provide 93 meals this holiday season. Men's basketball captains Jonathan Jackson, Kyle Kline, and David Arlaud present a check in the amount of $185 to Sue Cervi, Director of Volunteers from the Buffalo City Mission's Tupper Street location.
The men's basketball program would like to thank all those who attended the tournament and helped support this great cause. Since 2013, this partnership has raised $610 while accounting for 306 meals.
