AMCC ANNOUNCES ATHLETES OF THE WEEK FOR DECEMBER 5-11, 2022
The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) has announced its Athletes of the Week selections in the sports of men's & women's basketball and men's wrestling for the period running from December 5-11, 2022.

Men's Wrestling: Pitt-Bradford JR Colton Gietler had a strong week for Pitt-Bradford, going 3-1 in dual matches while wrestling above his normal weight class. Gietler started his week by picking up a win by fall against Penn State-Behrend in 6:07. At the Lycoming Duals, Gietler went 2-1 on the day. He lost a tough match by decision against Oswego State and then won by fall at 4:58 against Keystone and earned the Panthers' only points in a loss to Lycoming as he won by a 20-7 major decision.
Women's Basketball: Pitt-Bradford G Ashley Hall averaged 24.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game as the Panthers went 1-1 last week. She had a career night in the Panthers' 60-44 victory over Keuka, scoring 29 points and grabbing 13 rebounds, tallying her first career double-double. She shot 46.2% from the field and 44.8 from beyond the arc, as she drained 13 three-pointers in two games. She also added one assist and 2.5 steals per game.
Men's Basketball: Pitt-Bradford F Nathan Schneider averaged 26.3 points per game, leading Pitt-Bradford to a 2-1 week. He shot 65.9% from the field and 80% from the free-throw line. He added 4.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. In the Panthers' road win at Juniata, Schneider scored 25 points on 7-for-10 shooting from the field. He also had five rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Against Medaille, he scored 24 on 11-for-13 shooting and had five rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocked shots.
Women's Swimming: PS-Atloona SR Grace Dangelo had three individual first place finishes and was part of a relay second place during her team's victory over non-conference foe Lycoming on Friday night. She won the 50 Yard Backstroke (29.44), 50 Yard Butterfly (27.89), and the 100 Yard IM (1:04.25) while combining with her teammates to take second place in the 200 Yard Medley Relay (1:57.65).
Men's Swimming: Alfred State FR Avenn Toledo continued his impressive season with two individual first place finishes against SUNY Geneseo. In the 1000-yard freestyle, Toledo swam a 10:04.55 time, finishing 16 seconds quicker than the second-place time. Toledo also won the 500-yard freestyle by four seconds, clocking in at 4:53.22.
Men's Diving: PS-Behrend FR Jacob Earley took first on the three-meter board with a winning score of 195.25.
