AMCC ANNOUNCES ATHLETES OF THE WEEK FOR APRIL 21-27, 2025
The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) has announced its Athletes of the Week selections in the sports of men's & women's lacrosse, baseball, and softball for the period running from April 21-27, 2025.

Men's Lacrosse (Offensive): Pitt-Bradford A Billy Tigar scored six goals and added two assists in the Panthers' come-from-behind victory over La Roche. Tigar took 17 shots, putting nine on target. He also collected five ground balls.
Men's Lacrosse (Defensive): Hilbert GK Griffin Miller showed a lof grit, playing through injury and having to re-enter the Alfred State game. He stopped 25 shots and allowed nine goals for an impressive 73.5 save percentage, currently ranking second in the country in that category.
Women's Lacrosse (Offensive): La Roche A Alecia D'Urso played a pivotal role in La Roche winning its first AMCC Regular Season Championship, providing a spark on the offensive end in a 16-9 win over Mt. Aloysius. D'Urso scored four goals and assisted on another four to be a part of 50% of the Redhawk goals scored in the game. D'Urso enters the postseason leading the AMCC in scoring (69 points), goals (51) and is third in assists (18).
Women's Lacrosse (Defensive): La Roche M Kiki Nemcek helped lead the Redhawks to their first AMCC Regular Season Title in program history. In the 16-9 victory on Mount Aloysius in the regular season finale, Nemcek ended the day with nine caused turnovers, five ground balls and 10 draw controls. On the offensive end, Nemcek chipped in a pair of goals and a pair of assists. Nemcek currently sits second nationally in caused turnovers per game (3.92), is tied third nationally in caused turnovers (51) and ranks 10th nationally in ground balls per game (4.69).
Baseball (Player): PS-Behrend INF Mac Ciocco slashed .609/.654/1.130, as he hit 14-for-23 with six doubles, two home runs, 10 runs scored and 19 RBI in six games played. He recorded multiple hits in five of the six games with three hits in three contests. Ciocco finished with a combined nine hits and 11 RBI in doubleheader sweeps at Hiram and Fredonia on Tuesday and Wednesday. In a game two win at Pitt-Greensburg, he went 3-for-4 with a game-high five runs batted in.
Baseball (Pitcher): Hilbert SR Dylan Moorhouse tossed a complete game four-hitter without allowing an earned run. Moorhouse tallied seven strikeouts on Thursday afternoon to lift the Hawks to a thrilling 3-2 walk-off win over Alfred State.
Softball (Player): Pitt-Greensburg C Jessica Dunn led the Bobcats to a 5-0 (4-0 AMCC) record last week, propelling Pitt-Greensburg into a tie for second place in league standings. Dunn batted .438, scoring six runs and driving in three over four starts behind the plate. She walked three times with no strikeouts, for a .536 OBP.
Softball (Pitcher): Mount Aloysius JR Jessica Koptcho would put together a strong showing on the mound, recording a 0.91 ERA across four games for the Mounties. Koptcho's 22 strikeouts this past week would solidify her spot at the top of the AMCC leaderboard in the stat, putting her past the 100 strikeout mark this season. Koptcho also leads the conference in ERA with 1.18
