AMCC ANNOUNCES ATHLETES OF THE WEEK FOR NOVEMBER 17-23, 2025
The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) has announced its Athletes of the Week selections in the sports of men's & women's basketball and wrestling for the period running from November 17-23, 2025.
Women's Basketball: Mount Aloysius F Molly Kosmack put together a big week for the Mounties, playing all but one minute. The junior started with 15 points and 17 rebounds against Saint Vincent before delivering 22 points and 21 boards versus Penn College on Saturday. Across the two games, she averaged 18.5 points and 19 rebounds while shooting efficiently and providing steady production on both ends of the floor, adding five steals, two assists and a block on the week. Her 17 rebounds at Saint Vincent broke the Mounties' all-time rebounding record (700).
Men's Basketball: Pitt-Bradford G Jeremy Rodriguez led Pitt-Bradford to a 2-0 week, averaging 20.5 points, 3.5 assists, and 5.0 steals per game. He was able to close out the two comeback victories for the Panthers, making 20-22 from the line over the two games as he led the charge in erasing double-digit deficits in both games. In the win over Grove City, he scored 21 points, while tallying four rebounds, four assists, and four steals.
Women's Wrestling: Elmira JR Megan Edwards (124) posted a 6-1 record on the day at the ESU Warrior Duals to help lead the Soaring Eagles to a tie for sixth place out of 12 teams. Edwards recorded three tech falls and three falls on the day.
Men's Wrestling: Alfred State SR Sean Malenfant (184) was the top finisher in the 184 Open Bracket as he took third place at the NYS Collegiate Championship Open. After falling in his first match, Malenfant won five straight matches. He tallied four falls, including the fall the put him over the 100 career wins marks.
