BEHREND'S DESANTIS TABBED AS ECAC D3 SOUTH REGION CO-PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Penn State Behrend senior Dante DeSantis was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Div. III south region Co-Pitcher of the Week, announced Tuesday night.

 DeSantis was spectacular in the Lions' 6-0 victory over Westminster on March 14, hurling a complete-game shutout, striking out eight. He allowed just two hits and did not walk a batter.

Thus far in 2014, the senior has thrown a team-high 16.1 innings, sporting a 2.20 ERA with an astonishing 9-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
