Alfred State College travels to Cresson, PA on Saturday afternoon to take on Mount Aloysius College in the AMCC Baseball Games of the Week. The series will be a rematch of the classic 2019 AMCC Tournament First Round match-up when the Mounties took the series 2-1. In the memorable series, Game 1 went to ASC 5-1 before Mount Aloysius came back to take Games 2 and 3, both by the score of 14-13.

Mount Aloysius is riding a four-game winning streak as they recently swept both series againt Pitt-Bradford and Pitt-Greensburg. Leading the Mounties at the plate is junior INF Jeremy Iellimo with a .409 batting average and 14 runs scored. Freshman UTIL Troy Emert has a team-leading six extra base hits, inclduing three homeruns, and 15 RBIs and a. 343 batting average. Junior RHP Dylan Cole is tied for first in the conference with three wins on the mound, while also being tied for third with 24 strikeouts. Junior RHP Doug Cannon is tops in the AMCC with six saves. As a team, the Mounties are hitting .279 in conference play and have a 6.26 ERA.
