Mike Maleski, Pitt-Greensburg, Player of the Week

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greensburg INF Mike Maleski made the most of his at bats this week for Pitt-Greensburg, posting a .583 batting average in a 1-1-1 week, including a win over AMCC foe Mt. Aloysius. Maleski would tie for a team leading seven hits in 12 at bats, including two doubles and a triple. The freshman utility player would also add two RBIs and a team high six runs scored while posting a .643 on base percentage and a .917 slugging percentage.

BEST OF THE REST: Medaille C Ryan Markiewicz hit .500 on the week in a 2-2 week for the Mavs, throwing out three potential base-stealers from his catcher position....La Roche OF Luis Navedo hit .500 (6 for 12) with a home run, five runs, five RBIs, two doubles and two stolen bases in a 4-0 week for the Redhawks...D'Youville INF Matt Wendling hit .563 in four games, including three runs, three doubles, two RBIs, and two stolen bases...PS-Behrend OF Corey Bowers had a solid doubleheader on Sunday against Mt. Aloysius, going 4-for-7 with one walk, one double, one RBI, and scored one run...Mt. Aloysius SO Ian Helsel hit .429 on the week, recording three doubles, a triple, a homerun, three RBIs and four runs scored.
