Catcher Cumming, Penn St. Altoona, Baseball (Player)

Cumming had a monster week for the Lions, driving in 16 runs and recording three multi-hit games to help his team go 4-2 in AMCC play. On the week, he hit .500 (10-for-20) with 16 RBI, eight runs scored, three doubles, two home runs, two walks, and one stolen base. The junior slugged .950 and posted a .538 on-base percentage. In the field, Cumming was perfect, recording 52 putouts and one assist in 53 total chances. In game one against Hilbert, Cumming smacked a grand slam and recorded a total of eight RBI, which is tied for the most in a single game in Penn State Altoona baseball history. With a total of 12 combined RBI in the Hilbert doubleheader, Cumming set a Penn State Altoona baseball program record for the most RBI in a doubleheader in team history.
