Zick earned his second win of the season over Medaille last Tuesday, tossing seven-strong innings in his lone start of the week. Zick improved on his conference-leading mark in ERA, keeping the Mavericks scoreless through seven innings of work. Zick registered a dozen strikeouts and allowed just two hits with the 12 strikeouts being a new career high. Following the start, his ERA dropped to 1.53 and continue to lead the AMCC.

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State P/1B Nick Serce picked up the win in the Pioneers' 11-0 shutout over Pitt-Bradford, as he pitched six innings and only allowed three hits, walked three and struck out eight...Pitt-Bradford SR Alex Fetter recorded his first career shutout in the Panthers' 8-0 win over LaRoche this weekend, scattering eight hits and six walks but was able to strand 12 runners on base, while also striking out nine batters in the game...Hilbert FR Griff McAndrews had an outstanding performance at Alfred State on Friday afternoon, as he tossed three shutout frames of one-hit ball and added a strikeout to earn his third save in conference play, he has now tossed 11.0 innings on the season and not allowed a run while posting an impressive .135 batting average against and a 3:1 strikeout to walk ratio...Mount Aloysius FR Tyler Quade made his lone appearance of the week in a 12-1 victory against Pitt-Greensburg, as he started and earned the victory on the mound, going 7.0 strong innings and allowing just one unearned run while scattering three hits and striking out six in the victory...La Roche FR Garrett LeMaster pitched a strong game against Penn State Altoona to split the series with the Lions, as he pitched the entirety of the game, a total of eight innings, recording seven strike outs, and only allowing one run on nine hits...Medaille SR Zach Archibald earned a 4.5 ERA while allowing 11 hits with four strikeouts, averaging 4.5 strikeouts per nine innings against Penn State Behrend...Pitt-Greensburg JR Michael Sullivan pitched to a career-high eight strikeouts in a complete game 6-5 loss to Mount Aloysius on Wednesday, giving up four earned runs on eight hits over seven innings.
