Nathan Stutz, La Roche University, Baseball (Player)

Stutz had a big week for the Redhawks in Auburndale, FL this past week. He was twice the hero for his team when up at the plate. Stutz played and started all four games, while coming through in the clutch in two of those games. When the Redhawks were tied with Vassar College this past week, the catcher saw two pitches, and then hit the third out of the park with bases loaded. Stutz hit his, and the team's, first grand slam of the season. Later in the week, the Redhawks found themselves down by one to the Giants of Keystone College as they headed into the bottom of the ninth inning. Stutz hit a line drive single that drove in two runs, giving him a walk off single, and La Roche a 15-13 win. For the week, the catcher collected six hits and 15 RBIs. He recorded a slugging percentage of 1.071, as he was also successful with 20 putouts, two assists and 1.000 fielding percentage.
