PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Alfred State OF Tim Holler stayed hot at the plate for the Pioneers last week, while getting timely hits to help propel his team to a 3-0 record on the week. Holler picked up two hits in five at bats while also starting the scoring by crossing the plate on a passed ball in the early innings. He also came up clutch in the ninth with an RBI single scoring Joseph Schatz from second base in the top of the ninth to give Alfred State an insurance run. Against Penn St. Altoona, Holler hit a three-run homerun to put the Pioneers within a run at 4-3. He then singled to bring in Rigsby as the Pioneers took the lead 5-4 in the late innings and held it the rest of the way. Holler hit .385 with an OPS of 1.121 and a homerun with five RBI.

BEST OF THE REST: Hilbert OF Thomas Evans had another strong week at the plate for the Hawks, as he logged three multi-hit games, he began the week with a three-hit performance against SUNY Poly, including a double and home run before logging two multi-hit games against Pitt-Greensburg on Sunday, including a three-hit performance in game two, he finished the week with a .533 batting average, 1.000 slugging percentage and 1.563 OPS while scoring six runs and driving in five more...Pitt-Greensburg P/OF James Domer had two multi-hit games in the conference doubleheader against Hilbert on Sunday, as he went a combined 6-for-9 against the Hawks with two doubles and three RBI while scoring five runs...Mount Aloysius P/UTIL Tyler Quade produced a 2-for-4 line in a non-conference victory against Wooster, as he hit a two-run home run and scored three times, scoring every time he reached base. In addition to his production at the plate, Quade earned the victory on the mound as he tossed the final 2.0 innings in the come-from-behind victory, striking out three batters and allowing just one run in the relief effort.
