Walsh picked up another pair of saves this past week in wins over Fredonia State and La Roche to add to his AMCC-lead with eight saves on the season. The right-hander finished the week with 3.1 innings pitched while allowing his first earned run over his last 14 appearances and struck out three. Walsh is currently in a tie for the most saves in the nation and is now just one save away from the AMCC single season record for saves while posting a 0.77 ERA over 15 appearances this spring.

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State SO Ryan Bailey was lights out for Alfred State last week, throwing a complete game shutout and tallying 11 strikeouts, as he single handedly kept the Pioneers in the lead in the AMCC game of the week against Pitt-Greensburg...La Roche FR Chris Tarquinio received his first collegiate start against Allegheny College, earning a no-decision as the game went to extra innings, as he pitched eight innings of scoreless baseball against a powerful Gator lineup leaving six runners on base -- after 113 pitches, Tarquinio surrendered 1 run, on 4 hits, 2 walks, and 6 strikeouts; he then recorded his first official win this Sunday against Wooster College...PS-Altoona SR Alex Kitko notched his first win of the season in a terrific relief appearance in game two of the Lions' doubleheader sweep of AMCC opponent Pitt-Bradford on Sunday. With his team down 4-1 after the first inning, Kitko entered and put up zeroes for the rest of the game, allowing only four hits and two walks while striking out four batters in eight innings of work...PS-Behrend FR Ethan Tinker threw a complete seven-inning game, fanning 10 batters in a 4-1 win over Waynesburg, as he walked two and allowed one run on four hits...Pitt-Greensburg FR Nate Mankoski pitched one game this week and gave up one earned run over 4.1 innings, a the Pioneers earned three hits while striking out four batters.
