Zbezinski reached 100 career strikeouts in a complete-game, extra-inning, three-hit shutout in the opener against Alfred State. He threw 10 strikeouts in eight innings, fanning a batter at least once every inning for his fourth win of the season. Behrend held on for the win with a walk-off hit in the bototm of the eighth to take the 1-0 victory.

BEST OF THE REST: La Roche SR Jake Seymour earned his second shutout of the season and improved to 3-0 overall with a 7-0 win over Pitt-Greensburg, as he struck-out five batters, walked one and gave up no earned runs; Seymour is the only pitcher in NCAA Division III with a 0.00 ERA who has pitched at least 20.0 innings, as his ERA mark also ranks first in the conference...Pitt-Greensburg JR Mikey Sullivan posted a 1-0 record and recorded a save for the Bobcats this past week, posting a 2.25 ERA in eight innings of work, where he allowed just two runs on five hits and struck out seven...Mount Aloysius P Dylan Cole threw a complete game shutout in an 11-0 victory over Hilbert, picking up his fourth win of the season, which is tied for the top in the AMCC...Alfred State SR AJ Gartland was the tough luck loser in a pitcher's duel, as he allowed just four hits and one earned run in 7.1 innings of work, he didn't walk a batter and struck out nine...Hilbert JR Daniel Munn tossed 2.2 innings of relief without allowing an earned run during game two of the Hawks' doubleheader against Mount Aloysius. Munn has now appeared in three games this season and has yet to allow an earned run.
