Cumming had a big day in the Lions' sweep of AMCC opponent Medaille on Saturday, including setting the Penn State Altoona baseball record for the most home runs hit in a single game. In game one, the senior first baseman went 1-for-2 with two RBI, two runs scored, and one double. In game two, Cumming was 3-for-5 with three home runs -- including a grand slam -- to set a new team record for the most homers in a game. He also finished the game with seven RBI and three runs scored. On the week, Cumming hit .571 (4-for-7) with nine RBI, five runs scored, three home runs, and one double. He posted a .556 on-base percentage, a 2.000 slugging percentage, and was perfect in the field with 15 putouts on 15 total chances.

He also was perfect in the field with seven assists...Hilbert OF Frank McCabe led the Hawks to wins over a pair of NCAC opponents this week, as he compiled six hits, including two doubles, scored three runs and added four RBI, finishing the week hitting .462 over four games played and stealing one bag...Mount Aloysius OF Joshua Brown recorded at least one hit in all four games on the week, finishing the week 6-for-12 and walking three times, for an OBP of .647, while also hitting his first career homerun and driving in five runs for the week.
