PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Hilbert OF Nolan Evans powered the Hawks to a 5-1 week in league play, propelling them to sole possession of second place in league standings. The junior centerfielder had three multi-hit games and finished the week with a .435 batting average and 1.000 slugging percentage. Evans tallied six extra base hits, including three home runs, while driving in nine runs and scoring eight more. His biggest hit coming in the bottom of the 7th of game one against top seeded Mount Aloysius when he belted a game-tying three-run home run to send the game to extras where the Hawks walked it off in the ninth. Evans now leads the AMCC in league play in triples (2), home runs (4), extra base hits (9), slugging percentage (.854) and OPS (1.345) over 12 games played.

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg P/OF James Domer had a week in which he batted .500 over eight games with three home runs and seven RBI, he hit home runs in back -to-back days over the weekend, as his home run against Bradford was the game-winner and he came in to get the save, tying the Pitt-Greensburg single season save record -- on the week, he had a total of 14 hits and scored 11 runs...PS-Behrend INF Daniel Boehme finished 11-for-17 for a .647 batting average with a .714 on-base percentage, two doubles, five runs scored and seven RBIs, as he went 7-for-12 (.583) with six RBI in four conference games, recording a game-high four hits against Fredonia and three hits in game two at Altoona...PS-Altoona OF Tyreke Green put together four multi-hit games in six contests last week, as the Lions had doubleheader splits with AMCC opponents Pitt-Greensburg and Penn State Behrend and non-conference foe Thiel, as he hit .450 (9-for-20) with seven RBI, four runs scored, two walks, one double, one triple, and one stolen base while also dropping down three sacrifices, collecting 12 total bases on the week....Mount Aloysius INF John Griffith led the Mounties offense, as they split their conference games, as he hit .438 in confernce play with seven hits, a home run, and five RBI, including a 3-for-5 performance with a three run homer and a double in a 6-5 loss to Hilbert...Wells INF Max Odum had a strong week for the Express who secured two series splits against Alfred State and La Roche, as he became the Express' all-time leader in career hits with his 160th base-knock on an RBI double vs La Roche, he recorded a .438 average on seven hits, three of which went for doubles, while also driving in five RBI and scored a run himself in the important AMCC action.
