After tying for the AMCC regular season title a season ago, AMCC coaches expect Penn State Altoona to win the title outright this season. League coaches look for La Roche University to finish in the second spot, with Penn State Behrend rounding out the top three.
Penn State Altoona senior G/F Andruw Harman has been named the AMCC Preseason Player of the Year. Harman was the 2021-22 AMCC Defensive Player of the Year and received first-team all-conference honors. He was also a first-team All-ECAC Division III selection. Harman led the conference in blocks (38) and tied for first in blocks per game (1.4). He ranked second in the AMCC in defensive rebounds (137) and total rebounds (185), sixth in rebounds per game (6.9), and ninth in free throws made (78). Harman was twice named an AMCC Player of the Week during the 2021-22 season.
The AMCC Championship will be held Saturday, February 25 at the site of the number one seed, with the winner earning the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
