The AMCC saw two men's basketball players and one head coach recognizaed on the 2025 D3hoops.com All-Region Team. Pitt-Bradford senior, and AMCC Player of the Year, Jamarion Butler was named to the first team, while Penn State Behrend senior Tommy DiRienzo picked up second team honors. Pitt-Bradford head coach Jesse DeLoof was named the D3hoops Region 7 Coach of the Year.
Butler, who had already been named a 1st Team All-AMCC performer and conference Player of the Year, became the third player in program history to be recognized by D3hoops.com for their all-region team. Butler led the Panthers and the AMCC with 20.3 points per game this season, including 20.0 in conference play. He was also fifth in the AMCC with 7.2 rebounds per game, 10th with 3.1 assists per game, and second in steals per game with 2.1. Butler also led the AMCC in free throws made, hitting 138 at a 73% clip.
DiRienzo, a First Team All-AMCC selection, finished second in the AMCC in points per game (20.1), total points (503) and made free throws (114). In 16 conference games, DiRienzo led the AMCC with 21.5 points per game and 344 total points. He was also second in the conference in made free throws (73) and three-point percentage (43.4) and tied for sixth in free-throw percentage (81.1). To go along with his scoring, he recorded a team-high 5.5 rebounds per game and was second on the team in blocks per game (0.8). DiRienzo became the program's all-time leading scorer in February, ending his career with 1,836 points.
DeLoof also picked up his second postseason honor. Along with being named AMCC Coach of the Year, DeLoof was additionally named Region 7 Coach of the Year by D3hoops.com. DeLoof led Pitt-Bradford to the best season in program history, finishing 24-4. The team's win over TCNJ was the program's first NCAA Tournament win. DeLoof inherited a team that won one game in 2019-20, and after missing the 2020-21 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has steered the Panthers to 9, 12, 14, and 24 wins.
