PITT-GREENSBURG SELECTED BY COACHES TO FINISH AT TOP OF LEAGUE STANDINGS
Pitt-Greensburg has been crowned the preseason favorite by league coaches to finish atop of the AMCC men’s basketball standings in 2025-26. Amid high expectations, Penn State Behrend is projected to claim the second spot, while Penn State Altoona is right on their heels, rounding out the top three.
Pitt-Greensburg senior forward Trent Rozich has been tabbed as the AMCC Men’s Basketball Preseason Player of the Year. Rozich was an AMCC first team all-conference selection in 2024. He was the Bobcats’ leading scorer with 15.3 points per game last year. He finished the season second in the conference with 4.5 assists per game, second in defensive rebounds (169), fourth in rebounds per game (7.7) fourth in field goal percentage (57.9), and eighth in free throws made (88).
The AMCC Championship will be held Saturday, February 28 at the site of the number one seed, with the winner earning the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
