PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Bradford G Eric Matheson averaged 26.3 points per game and nearly eight assists per game in a critical 2-1 week for Pitt-Bradford. Matheson led the Panthers with 34 points in a back-and-forth game with first place Hilbert on Jan. 6. He then posted a double-double in a win over Mount Aloysius (19 points/11 assists). He also added five blocks, three steals and 11 boards on the defensive end of the floor to help the Panthers get back on track with two crucial conference victories.
