PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend G Tommy DiRienzo averaged 22.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game over two games last week. On Tuesday at Baldwin Wallace, he led all scorers with a season-high 32 points to go along with 11 rebounds to help lead the Lions to an 80-69 victory in overtime. DiRienzo led all players with 24 points and 11 rebounds at Allegheny on Saturday.

BEST OF THE REST: Hilbert F Jahmel Demery led the Hawks to a 2-0 record last week, averaging 13.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game, as he picked up his second double-double of the year with 15 points and a career high of 18 rebounds in the road win over SUNY Canton...Pitt-Greensburg F Trent Rozich played 35 minutes and scored 19 points, including the game-winning layup with five seconds left to propel the Bobcats to their first win of the season over previously unbeaten Geneva, as he aslo brought down seven rebounds, dished out three assists, and swiped away two steals...Pitt-Bradford G Gus Napoleon led the Panthers with 19 points in their home win over Fredonia Last week, he stepped up in the second half, scoring 16 points to hold off a late Fredonia charge, as he shot 6-for-10 from the field in the game, including 2-for-5 from three while also grabbing five rebounds...La Roche G Joe Starzynski had a great night for La Roche in its lone game of the week, as he compiled 15 points, eight rebounds, three assists and three steals in a comeback victory over Muskingum, where they were down by as many as 14 points.
