PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greensburg G Matt Marinchak averaged 18.7 points per game in a week that saw a 2-1 record, including a holiday tournament championship and a win over ranked John Carroll University. Marinchak was named tournament MVP for his performance against John Carroll in the tournament finals after scoring a game-high 26 points with five rebounds and three steals.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend F Jacob Dunkle averaged 17.3 points and 6.3 rebounds over the holiday break, he shot 60 percent from the floor and registered a season-high 26 points in the win at Hiram on Saturday, while also going 12-for-14 from the charity stripe in three games...PS-Altoona G Kaden Claar had a great all-around game to lead the Lions to a road win at non-conference opponent Regent on Saturday afternoon, he registered a double-double performance, finishing with 17 points and 12 rebounds to go along with six assists and four steals...Mount Aloysius G Fin Hutchison put together a strong two-game stretch at the Mount Union/Wilmington tournament, averaging 12.5 points in 22 minutes per game, he scored 11 points off the bench against nationally ranked Mount Union, shooting 4-for-8 from the field and 3-for-5 from three-point range, he followed that up with a career-high 14 points in the start against Wilmington (Ohio), going 6-for-10 from the floor...Hilbert G Jaden Mitchell recorded 16 points, shooting 42.9% from three and the field in a non-conferences loss to SUNY Geneseo.
