Claar had a great all-around week for the Lions, as the senior guard contributed in all aspects during a 2-1 week of AMCC play at home. In Monday night's victory over Pitt-Bradford, he scored 17 points to go along with six rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Wednesday night, in a loss to Carlow, Claar put up 18 points and added eight rebounds, four steals, and one assist. In a bounceback win over La Roche on Saturday afternoon, Claar recorded 11 points (including the buzzer-beating, game-winning basket) and also contributed nine rebounds, two steals, and one assist. On the week, he averaged 15.3 points per game, 7.7 rebounds per game, 2.7 steals per game, and 1.3 assists per game.

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius G Donovan Bass-Briscoe led the Mounties to their first conference win of the season last week, as they went 1-1. The junior scored 13 points at La Roche on 6-of-12 shooting, adding five rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes, he followed that with a career-high 27 points against Alfred State, shooting an efficient 11-of-14 from the field while adding nine rebounds and six assists to help lift the Mounties to a 92-89 victory...Pitt-Greesnburg F Trent Rozich led the Bobcats in their only game of the week, a big win over Hilbert, scoring 24 points while playing in all 40 minutes...Carlow F Tomasi Pavihi averaged 16.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game to help Carlow to a 1-1 week in the AMCC...Pitt-Bradford G Jeremy Rodriguez averaged 17.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game in a 2-1 week for the Panthers, he shot 52.8% from the field and 45% from beyond the arc, recording 30 points with three assists and four steals against Alfred State...PS-Behrend G Matthew McDonough tied for a team-best 16 points, thanks to three triples, to lead the Lions past Hilbert on Wednesday, he shot 50 percent from behind the arc and dished out six assists to go with four rebounds...Hilbert G Iyan Bremmer had a great week, averaging 9.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 37.5% from long range.
