BEST OF THE REST: Hilbert G Quran Briggs played a pivotal role in the Hilbert Hawks' 2-0 week, as he averaged 21.5 points per game on an efficient 58.6% shooting from the field, while also contributing across the board, adding 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game to go along with four steals and a block...Alfred State G Michael Miller led the the Pioneers' offense all week as he averaged 23.5 points per game, opening the week with a 16 point outing against Geneseo, then following that with a career-best 31 point night against Houghton, while also tallying 11 rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and two blocks on the week...PS-Altoona G/F Dwayne Jones was named to the all-tournament team, as the Lions competed in the Western New England University Holiday Classic last Friday and Saturday, as he finished with 11 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals in a loss to host WNE on Friday night, then on Saturday in a tight loss to Colby, he had 26 points, 12 rebounds, three blocks, and two steals...Pitt-Bradford G Rodd Yarbrough led the Panthers to a 2-0 record last week, scoring 17.0 points per game off the bench, while also averaging 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 2.0 steals per game...La Roche G Michael Brooks helped lead the Redhawks to a 2-1 week, as he netted 15 points to go alongside eight rebounds and three assists in Wednesday's win over Muskingum, he then scored 11 points and added a pair of assists in Friday's matchup against Wooster then closed the week earning a Wooster Tournament All-Tournament selection, behind a 25 point and five assist effort in a victory over Bluffton...PS-Behrend G Matthew McDonough tallied 16.3 points per game and 3.0 rebounds per game, as he led the Lions with a season-high 17 points at Carnegie Mellon on Wednesday, he then finished with 16 points in a Behrend win against Buffalo State at the Hobart tournament and the next night recorded another 16-point effort to go along with a team-high two steals vs. Hobart...Carlow G Byron Gaskins averaged 18.5 points per game and shot 50 percent from the field, while also adding 4.5 rebounds per game, as Carlow went 0-2 in Boston this weekend.
