PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona F Dwayne Jones had a big week for the Lions, posting a pair of double-doubles to help his team notch a pair of AMCC wins. In Wednesday night's home victory against Mount Aloysius, Dwayne contributed 18 points and a game-high 11 rebounds to go along with two assists, two steals, and two blocks. On Saturday, in a road win at Wells, he scored 24 points while grabbing a career-high 17 rebounds, and he also recorded five blocks, three steals, and one assist. On the week, Jones averaged 21.0 points, 14.0 rebounds, 3.5 blocks, 2.5 steals, and 1.5 assists per game.

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State C Cody Schneider averaged 21.5 points while also grabbing 13.0 rebounds per game, as he notched two double-doubles on the week, against Wells he scored 20 points while grabbing 16 boards, then against Pitt-Greensburg he tallied 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds...Pitt-Greensburg F Trent Rozich had a career-high 37 points and 19 rebounds against Carlow last week in a Bobcat win, as he averaged a double-double of 23 points and 14.5 rebounds to go along with 4.5 assists per game on the week...Hilbert F Jahmel Demery led the Hawks to another two AMCC conference wins this week, averaging a double-double with 15.5 points and 11 rebounds per game, as he picked up his third double-double of the year with 15 points and 13 rebounds in the AMCC game of the week win at Pitt-Bradford on Wednesday night, he then followed with a 16 point and nine rebound game, while shooting 8-10 from the field in the home win over Carlow...La Roche G Joe Starzynski was a key piece for the Redhawks this past week, as he put together 10 points on 62.5% shooting, four rebounds and a pair of assists in Wednesday's 56-45 win over Penn State-Behrend, he followed that performance in Saturday's 93-91 2OT defeat to Pitt-Bradford with a game-high 26 points, shooting 60% again from the floor (9-for-15) and adding seven rebounds...PS-Behrend G Matthew McDonough averaged 17.5 points per game, shooting 52.4 percent (11-21) from the field and 50 percent (8-16) from beyond the arc, as he scored a season-high 28 points to help lead the Lions to an 88-59 victory over Mount Aloysius, tallying 19 of his 28 points in the first half, finishing 9-for-16 from the field and 6-for-11 from three...Carlow G Byron Gaskins led the Celtics over three games last week, as he averaged 16.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists...Pitt-Bradford G Xavion Boone Roberson averaged 13.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, as the Panthers went 1-1 last week, as he also hit the biggest shot of the week for the Panthers, converting the game-winner in the double-overtime victory over LaRoche.
