PITT-BRADFORD WINS MOUNT ALOYSIUS INVITATIONAL; PENN STATE ALTOONA TAKES MOUNTAIN VALLEY COLLEGIATE CLASSIC
The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's golf team finished first with a score of 306 at Summit Country Club hosted by Mount Aloysius Sunday. Penn State Altoona shot 309 as a team to come in second place out of nine teams. After two days of competition, Penn State Altoona and Pitt-Bradford tied for first place in the Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic, with Altoona coming out on top in a tiebreak based on combined drop scores from both days.

Panther junior Matt Moonan tied with Penn State-Altoona sophomore Jimmy Gillespie with scores of 74, and the two players went to a tiebreak to decide the individual winner. Moonan picked up the win, taking the individual winner honor.
Moonan also picked up the victory of the "Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic" that combines the scores from Saturday's event at Penn State-Altoona and Sunday at 148.
In Sunday's event alone, the Panthers' score of 306 bested the day's event, three strokes ahead of Penn State-Altoona at 309. La Roche College was third with 310.
Pitt-Greensburg senior Javon Trout finished in third place with a 75. There was a four-way tie for fourth place between La Roche College's Tyler Booher and Tom O'Toole, Penn St. Altoona's Luke Hoffnagle, and Penn St. Behrend's JT Kuchinski.
