MEN'S GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP SET TO TEE OFF ON MONDAY
The AMCC Men's Golf Championship is set to tee off on Monday, October 10 at The Club at Nevillewood in Nevillewood (Pittsburgh), PA to determine the 2022 AMCC men's golf champion.

Looking to defend their title from a year ago is Penn State Altoona, who picked up their sixth AMCC Men's Golf Championship in 2021.
Individually, Pitt-Bradford freshman Curtis Barner leads the conference with a 75.00 season average.
Penn State Altoona currently sits at the top of conference rankings with a 309.44 team scoring average. The Lions are led by junior Trey Heffelfinger who ranks second in the AMCC with a 75.83 average, while freshman Peter Nusbaum ranks third with a 76.89 average. Also ranking in the top ten for the Lions are freshman Jack DiTrani (5th, 78.22), sophomore Joey Toth (T-6th, 78.89), and freshman Owen Wise (T-8th, 80.00).
Mount Aloysius College ranks second in the AMCC with a 321.86 team scoring average. Freshman Luke Melisko leads the Mounties, and ranks fourth in the AMCC, with a 77.86 average.
Rounding out the top three teams is Penn State Behrend with a 326.78 average. Senior Ryan Johnson leads the Lions with a 78.89 scoring average, tying him for the sixth spot in the conference. Sophomore Phil Pedano and junior Jake Caldwell are tied for the 10th in the league with an 81.00 average.
Hilbert College's Michael Petrus also ranks in the top 10, as his 80.00 average ties him for the eighth spot.
The tournament is a two day, 36 hole, stroke play event. Monday's first pairings will tee off at 9:00am.
Tuesday's action will commence at 9:00am, with pairings determined by the Day One results. The tournament team champion will receive the AMCC's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament which will be held May 16-19 in Nicholasville, KY.
