PSA'S NUSBAUM NAMED GOLFER OF THE YEAR AS ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM IS ANNOUNCED
Penn State Altoona sophomore Peter Nusbaum has been named the AMCC Golfer of the Year.
Penn State Altoona sophomore Peter Nusbaum has been named the AMCC Golfer of the Year. Nusbaum led the conference in scoring average this season, finishing with a 74.57. He was a consistent leader in the Lion lineup, including a 4 under par 68 on day two of the Gauntlet which tied for the second low round of the day behind a 65. He had four top eight finishes in five events throughout the course of the season.
Pitt-Greensburg freshman Cyrus Parvizi is the AMCC Newcomer of the Year. Parvizi had five top-15 finishes including an overall win at Latrobe Country Club. His low score came in the Saint Vincent Tournament where he shot a 75.
Penn State Altoona head coach Tom Koehle picks up Coach of the Year honors for the third time in the past four seasons. Koehle led the Lions to their third straight AMCC title this season.
