Riscica put together two solid rounds in his Lions debut this past weekend, during the two-day Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic. In Friday's round at the Lions' home course, Sinking Valley Country Club, he led all AMCC golfers by shooting a 73, 1-over par. He followed that up with a 5-over-par score, 77, in Saturday's round at Summit Country Club. Riscica totaled 150 across the two rounds to tie for ninth place out of 110 individuals.

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius FR Viktor Cussil produced his best single round and tournament round scores in his short career, as he helped the Mounties a second place team finish in consecutive weeks. On Friday at Sinking Valley, Cussil shot his career best round, 74, which led the Mounties to a 309 team score, then on Saturday, he shot a 76 to finish tied for 9th overall and be his best two-round total, helping to propel the Mounties a 299 score on the day...Hilbert SR Matt Whelan led the Hawks both days of the Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic posting one birdie on day one and three birdies on day two.
