Helsley was Penn State Altoona's top finisher in the three-day NCAA Division III Fall Preview this past Sunday through Tuesday at Mission Resort + Club in Florida. The sophomore totaled 220 strokes across three rounds in a highly competitive field, carding scores of 72, 72, and 76 to tie for 35th place on the player leaderboard.

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg SR Zach Abdallah recorded a 76 at the Hilbert Invitational for a third place finish out of 24 individuals, he then took home individual medal honors at the La Roche Invitational, by carding a 75 and finishing first out of 73 individuals...Mount Aloysius FR William Willis finished T11 with scores of 75 and 71 at The Gauntlet Invitational, a very strong showing for the freshman in just his second collegiate event...PS-Behrend SO Johnny Palmieri tallied a season-low 77 to tie for second place at the La Roche Invitational on Monday...Pitt-Bradford SO Michael Peterson fired a 5-over 77 to finish tied for second place at the La Roche Invitational on Monday, he carded 12 pars and 1 birdie at Wildwood Golf Club, leading the Panthers to a fourth place team finish...Carlow SR Logan Smith led Carlow with an 89 to place 20th of 43 golfers on the day, he landed five par on the course at Oak Shadows Golf Club on Friday, then followed that up on Saturday when he birdied the first hole and sank seven par to lead the Celtics with a third place score of 86 on the day in a dual against Waynesburg.
