Viktor Cussil, Mount Aloysius College, Men's Golf

Cussil had a strong showing this week for the Mounties as they placed third in the Sinking Valley Collegiate Classic. Cussil finished for a tie with fifth place after surging up the leaderboard 17 spots on day two with a 74. A weekend 77-74 for the sophomore and top-five finish was crucial for the Mounties finishing third out of 20 teams.

GOLFER OF THE WEEK: Mount Aloysius SO Viktor Cussil had a strong showing this week for the Mounties as they placed third in the Sinking Valley Collegiate Classic. Cussil finished for a tie with fifth place after surging up the leaderboard 17 spots on day two with a 74. A weekend 77-74 for the sophomore and top-five finish was crucial for the Mounties finishing third out of 20 teams.

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona JR Jack Ankeny shot 75 in round one and 77 in round two to total 152 strokes, tying for seventh place individually out of 105 golfers in Penn State Altoona's home tournament this past Sunday and Monday.
