HERRMANN, DONOHUE NAMED ECAC OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Franciscan University senior forward Leo Herrmann and Penn State Behrend senior midfielder Amanda Donohue were each tabbed as the ECAC Men's and Women's Soccer Offensive Players of the Week.
Franciscan University senior forward Leo Herrmann and Penn State Behrend senior midfielder Amanda Donohue were each tabbed as the ECAC Men's and Women's Soccer Offensive Players of the Week.
Herrmann scored four goals and handed out three assists in the Barons' 2-1 week. Herrmann scored the game-tying and game-winning goal against Waynesburg while assisting on JP Bobak's first goal of the game. Herrmann went on to score another pair of goals and had two assists in Franciscan's 7-5 win over Muskingum.
Donohue led the Lions to a 2-1 record this week, netting a goal in each of the three games. She netted the lone goal in a 1-0 victory over Case Western on Wednesday, before scoring the only goal against Owsego on Friday. Dononue then tallied the eventual game winner against Fredonia. For the week, Donohue scored three goals, including two game-winners, while being named to the all-tournament team at the Blue Devil Classic.
