Behrend improves their winning streak to 10 straight games with a 4-0 decision over D’Youville on Tuesday. The Lions are one of two teams that are untied and undefeated in Division III. Behrend remains No. 2 in the USC Great Lakes Region and is currently 12th in the USC Top 25 National Poll. Last time out, Nick Kisiel and Aaron Harris tallied a goal and an assist apiece . Jordan Floyd tallied his team-leading seventh goal of the season in the first two minutes and off the first shot taken in the game. Andrew Mastovich and Matt Warnaka were also named the AMCC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively.
Franciscan enters the Game of the Week having not lost a game since September 4, and winning their most recent contest, a 2-0 victory over Penn St. Altoona. Nick Miller leads the Barons, and is tied for third in the AMCC, with eight goals on the season. Goalkeeper Brian Gaughan leads the conference with a .915 save percentage and a 0.49 goals-against average. Gaughan ranks second in the AMCC with five goals against. Miller and Gaughan also picked up AMCC Offensive and Defensive Player of Week awards on September 23.
