The AMCC men's soccer conference schedule kicks off this weekend, with Mount Aloysius College (4-3-1) traveling to Alfred State College (6-3) in 2024's first AMCC Men's Soccer Game of the Week. A season ago, the Mounties were the 2023 AMCC regular season champion, while it was the Pioneers that prevailed in the AMCC Championship Tournament, earning their first conference title in program history. 

With a 4-3-1 overall record, the Mounties are currently riding a three game win streak, most recently picking up a 3-0 win over Washington & Jefferson. Mount Aloysius senior M/F Juan Camacho leads the conference with six goals on the season, while fellow senior Louis Bez is tops in the AMCC with four assists. Sophomore GK Sam Denchfield ranks third in the conference with a 1.71 goals against average and is fourth with a .657 save percentage.

With a 6-3 overall record, Alfred State currently holds the top record in the AMCC. The Pioneers are entering the AMCC Game of the Week after dropping a 2-1 decision to Penn College on Tuesday. The Pios will be hard to stop offensively, boasting a trio of players ranking in the top four goal scorers in the conference. Senior F Nuri Sarbudak and freshman F Travis Scandalis lead the way for Alfred State, and are tied for second in the conference, with five goals a piece this season. Freshman F Chuck Domm is right behind them with four goals. Senior M Farhan Abdi and junior M Ali Mata-Ruiz are tied for second in the conference with three assists each. Senior GK Alexander Preston leads the league with a 1.09 goals against average.
