BEST OF THE REST: D'Youville D Matt Davis turned in another superb week at the heart of the Spartan's defense as the went 1-1 as Davis' contributions as a center back cannot be measured by statistics, but his presence is always known on the defensive end, continuously breaking up plays in the air or on the ground and has a cannon for a leg, able to handle free kick duties and clear the ball away from danger quickly...Mount Aloysius D Pete Smerecky led the Mounties to a 2-0 week with two shutouts from his center back position, leading a defense that allowed just nine shots total in the two victories, and scoring the game-winning goal off of a corner kick against Hilbert on Saturday...Pitt-Bradford GK Derrick Brock made one start on the week and picked up a shutout win over Hilbert...La Roche D Ty Savochka recorded a goal in the Redhawks' 4-2 loss to Franciscan.
