DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona D Owen Myers spearheaded Penn State Altoona's defensive efforts in the Lions' 5-0 shutout win over non-conference opponent Wilson College at home on Wednesday night. The freshman defender helped his team limit Wilson to just six shot attempts and only two shots on goal.

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State GK Thad Grierson was stellar in net in a pair of OT efforts. He allowed just two goals in over 196 minutes of play. He made 15 total saves including a save on a penalty shot. He faced 39 total shots this week and 27 corner kicks.
