SWIMMING & DIVING TEAMS EARN SPRING SCHOLAR ALL-AMERICA HONORS
The Penn State Behrend men's and women's swimming and diving teams, along with the Alfred State College women's team, have been named Division III Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
The CSCAA has named 763 teams to its Scholar All-America list for the Spring 2025 semester. The CSCAA recognizes teams with the Scholar All-America Award for achieving a team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
The Alfred State women sported a team GPA of 3.48, while the Behrend women recorded a 3.38 GPA and the Behrend men tallied a 3.09 GPA.
Pioneer diver Conor Compton earned first team Scholar All-American honors after recording a GPA above 3.5 in construction management, while placing fifth at the men's diving national championship. Behrend swimmer Camyrn Watters qualified to be on the Scholar All-American second team, as she boasted a GPA of 3.5 or higher and met a "B" time standard for the national championship.
