Traggiai won two individual swims while also being part of a relay first place finish, as the Lions tied W&J on Friday night in Penn State Altoona's season opener on the road. Caden won the 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 10:30.64, then later took first place in the 500 Yard Freestyle after clocking in at 5:00.64. The junior also combined with his teammates for a time of 1:31.41 to nab first place in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. Traggiai swam the anchor leg of the final relay that earned the Lions the tie against the Presidents.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend JR Anthony Tumino was a three-time winner with two individual events and one relay victory. He won the 200 free (1:49.23) and 100 free (48.21). Tumino also swam on the winning 200 medley relay (1:36.23)...Pitt-Bradford JR Conan Young picked up two individual victories and a relay win on Saturday's season-opening dual meet at Fredonia, leading the Panthers to a 91-81 win. He won the 200-yard freestyle by nearly 13 seconds with a time of 1:52.67, and then closed with a 49-second win in the 500, finishing in 5:05.75. Young also swam the lead leg in the medley relay, posting a 29.83 backstroke split.
