FRANCISCAN EARNS #1 SEED IN AMCC MEN'S TENNIS TOURNAMENT
Franciscan University extended their unbeaten string against AMCC opponents to 18 and head into the AMCC tournament aiming for their third straight league title and NCAA automatic bid.
The Franciscan University men's tennis team extended their unbeaten string against AMCC opponents to 18 and head into the AMCC tournament as the #1 seed. The Barons are aiming for their third straight league title and a trip to the NCAA tournament.
Franciscan (6-0 AMCC, 8-9 overall) will face #4 seed Penn St. Altoona when the tournament opens on Saturday, April 26 at Westwood Racquet Club in Erie, PA. The other semifinal match up will feature #2 Pitt-Greensburg vs. #3 Pitt-Bradford. The finals will be held on Sunday, April 27 at 11am.
The tournament winner will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament.
