Franciscan University will be making their fifth appearance in the NCAA men's tennis tournament after defeating Penn St. Behrend on Sunday for the AMCC title.
The Barons captured the title for the fourth year in a row.
The day began with doubles action. Franciscan swept all three doubles, wrapping up a 26-1 record against all conference doubles opponents for the season.
They got their match-deciding points from #2 Jarek Sulak (6-0, 6-2) and #6 R.J. Watson (6-1, 6-1).
The Barons will find out their first round opponents in the NCAA post-season on Monday, May 8. First round matches will take place May 13-15 at regional sites to be announced.
