Jacobs started off the 2022-23 strong as he was undefeated in his first two matches. He won with dominated performances, only giving up two total points in singles and two total points in doubles. The sophomore accomplished this feat at #2 singles and #1 doubles, after playing most of last season in #5-6 singles and #3 Doubles.
