Jonathon Laier, Penn State Behrend, Men's Tennis

Laier led his team to a victory over Washington & Jefferson this past week. Laier picked up wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles against the Presidents on Friday. In doubles, Laier and Akash Sangha only gave up one set point. Laier went on to post a 6-2, 7-5 victory in the top spot.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend JR Jonthon Laier led his team to a victory over Washington & Jefferson this past week. Laier picked up wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles against the Presidents on Friday. In doubles, Laier and Akash Sangha only gave up one set point. Laier went on to post a 6-2, 7-5 victory in the top spot.

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona FR Andrew Chronister helped to account for two of PS-Altoona's three points the Lion's home loss to non-conference opponenent Saint Vincent. In No. 1 doubles, he partnered with Casey Hess to post an 8-5 victory. In No. 2 singles, he pulled out a 6-0, 4-6, 10-6 win.
