Zy'Mere Covington, Hilbert College, Men's Track & Field (Track)

Covington opened his collegiate career at RIT Friday night by winning his 60m heat which advanced him on time (7.29) to the finals. The rookie sprinter sliced his time to 7.24, and finished second in the final race, establishing a new Hilbert indoor record.

TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Hilbert FR Zy'Mere Covington opened his collegiate career at RIT Friday night by winning his 60m heat which advanced him on time (7.29) to the finals. The rookie sprinter sliced his time to 7.24, and finished second in the final race, establishing a new Hilbert indoor record.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Carlow SR Bryan Pan placed seventh in the 200 and tied for 14th in the 55-meter dash preliminaries as Carlow placed 7th of 9 teams at the Baldwin Wallace Mid-February Meet Friday.
