PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona OH Matt Huey posted double-digit kill totals in every match during a 2-2 week for the Lions. In a tight 3-2 loss at the strong non-conference foe Juniata on Wednesday, he posted 19 kills to go along with six total blocks, four digs, and three service aces. In a 3-1 win over AMCC opponent Hilbert on Friday, he finished with 18 kills and 11 digs. On Saturday, Huey had 14 kills and three total blocks in a competitive loss to first place AMCC team Medaille before recording 15 kills, eight digs, four aces, and one total block in a 3-2 win over AMCC foe D'Youville. On the week, Huey had 66 kills (3.88 kills per set), 23 digs (1.35 digs per set), 10 total blocks (0.59 blocks per set), and seven aces (0.24 aces per set).

BEST OF THE REST: Medaille MB Sam Bloomberg helped Medaille go 4-0 and finish conference play undefeated by recording 25 kills and a team high .500 hitting percentage, while also adding three service aces three solo blocks and 14 total blocks...D'Youville OH Brock Tetreault tallied a team high 55 kills to go with five service aces and added 23 digs and 13 total blocks, he had three double-digit kill games, making his total 19 for the season...PS-Behrend MH Trenton Munk hit .423 in three matches this week, recording 30 kills on 52 attempts and just eight errors, while also adding five blocks...Hilbert OH Korey Schwab hit .290 with 33 kills over the course of a four match week for the Hawks.
